After that, I guess I could / should write a little more about myself, what my aims are with this whole DJ Cub thing, and what I'm gonna do with it. Here's a start.

For a long time (or even, my entire life) I've loved music, of many different kinds. I guess it kinda started with, as embarrassing as this is to share, Aqua and the Spice Girls when I was around six years old. After that I kinda opened my eyes to "real" music courtesy of my sister and started listening to Korn and Slipknot back in the day when they were "real" bands, had a not so pretentious following, and had a shred of respect as "original" artists.

Long story short, I'm now mahoosively into drum 'n bass, and some house -- but most of all, I pretty much like everything and anything, unless it's some mass manufactured mainstream pop / emo shite that seems to be all the rave with the general public right now. Pft. Shite, utter shite.

So, where am I going with this? Well, I've been starting to produce music for a year and a half now. I don't yet have any solid tracks to present to anyone, because ultimately, I'm my own worst critic, and I'm never really happy with what I'm coming up with. Hopefully, this project should push me to produce something wicked, that both I and the people around me like. I'm still new to the whole electronic production and music technology thing too, and I can't say at all that I'm either experienced or competent (yet) in this field. 

I'm learning. I'm growing, musically. And I know that when it gets to that point, where I'm "there", it's gonna be good.
